Job Description

Grant Mason Mortgage Group is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Disclosure Specialist to join our growing team.

The Loan Disclosure Specialist is responsible for reviewing new loan applications, preparing and issuing initial disclosures, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and helping move files efficiently through the early stages of the mortgage process.

This role is critical to delivering an exceptional client experience while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and speed throughout the loan origination process.

Experience

  • Mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Loan disclosure, processing, or loan officer assistant experience preferred
  • Experience with Encompass preferred
  • Strong administrative experience considered
  • No college degree required

Responsibilities

  • Review new loan applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Generate and issue initial disclosures within required timeframes
  • Monitor disclosure deadlines and compliance requirements
  • Communicate with Loan Officers regarding missing information
  • Review loan data prior to disclosures being sent
  • Issue revised disclosures as necessary
  • Track disclosure completion and borrower acknowledgments
  • Maintain accurate records within Encompass and company systems
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks as assigned
  • Coordinate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure smooth file transitions
  • Provide status updates to internal team members
  • Help improve disclosure workflows and efficiency
